My Fertility Journey
When I was told that I had less than a 5% chance of conceiving naturally, my world crumbled. After visiting a fertility clinic in Toronto for blood work and cycle monitoring, I learned that my AMH levels were less than ideal, and IVF was recommended as my best chance for pregnancy. Despite having a daughter two years earlier, I was now facing the reality that fertility treatments were considered my best hope for expanding my family.
While on the IVF waitlist, I decided to take charge of my fertility in hopes of improving the success rate of IVF. Drawing on my yoga training, consulting different holistic practitioners and doing plenty research on infertility, I began incorporating fertility-focused yoga, Ayurveda, dietary changes, breathing exercises, guided meditation, and visualization techniques into my routine. After a few months I got big surprise. I conceived naturally.
Since then, I left my career as a Respiratory Therapist and returned to school to study Ayurveda. My mission now is to help others overcome their fertility challenges and support them on their journey to parenthood.
